Our honorable guests arrived at the Welcome Dinner held at Jade Garden, Causeway Bay, on 14th November, 2003. The chief delegate, Prof. YL Cong, from Mainland China gave his congratulation to our Association at the Welcome Dinner. The chief delegate, Prof. CL Kao, from Taiwan expressed his appreciation to the Organizing Committee.
Miss Denise Tam, our MC of the Opening Ceremony. Dr. Kent KS Tsang, our Chairman of the Organizing Committee, introduced the Conference at the Opening Ceremony. Dr. Hon. WL Lo, JP, Legislative Councillor, Hong Kong SAR, presented the Welcome Speech.
Prof. YL Cong gave his talk, Total Quality Management and Network Management, at the Plenary Lectures. Prof. JT Kao presented on Genetic Variation and Hypertriglyceridemia. Prof. KY Yuen highlighted the newly found "Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Associated Novel Coronavirus".
Our President, Mr. Thomas CK Yeung (right) and Vice President, Mr. YL Tsim (left) officiated the Exhibition Opening. The Lion Dance at the Exhibition Opening, sponsored by the Hong Kong Tourism Association. The lion welcomed the arrival of the delegates.
