Abstract Submission ”V Information and Instructions

1.    List authors”¦ surname(s) and then initial(s) - underline the presenting author. After the last author's name, list the institution, city (and country if other than China) for each author. Omit degrees, titles and full addresses.

2.    The abstract can be submitted on-line via our website http://www.hkmta.org/ or by e-mail to 6clmc@hkmta.org. Abstracts will be published as submitted, i.e. any error that appears in the submitted abstract will appear in the published Abstracts Book.

3.    If the abstract exceeds the 2,000 characters limit (Times New Roman, font size 12, the character limit is the sum of the title, abstract body, table and any figures), you will then need to edit your text accordingly to fit half page of an A4 size paper (the box overleaf).

4.    It is strongly recommended to structure the text as follows:

       *    Objective(s)

       *    Methods

       *    Results - a summary in sufficient detail to support the conclusions

       *    Conclusions (it is not satisfactory to state "The results will be discussed")

5.    A simple table or graph may be included.

6.    Abbreviations may be used after the first appearance of the full word for which they stand.

7.    Abstracts not correctly prepared will not be considered and ONLY abstracts written in English will be accepted for presentations (oral or poster).

8.    Don't forget to type the name, address, phone and fax number and e-mail address of the presenting author where indicated. Anyone presenting a poster must register for the conference.

9.    Deadline of submission:  31 May 2003.  Results will be announced before 15 July 2003.

How to submit an abstract in high quality

Objective:  To achieve the best presentation of your scientific contribution to the 6th Chinese Laboratory Medicine Conference (6thCLMC).
