Courses Jointly Offered with SPACE

Since January 2002, the Association has been, in collaboration with School of Professional and Continuing Education, The University of Hong Kong, offering three courses in Fundamental Venipuncture Techniques for Phlebotomist. The fourth course will start on Tuesday, the 14^th January 2003. Other than the Venipuncture course, the Association, also in cooperation with the HKU-SPACE, launched another course series – Medical Microbiology Series in September 2002. The series consists 8 courses which extended from September 2002 to May 2003. These courses are designed for clinical laboratory personnel trained in other medical laboratory science specialties and would like to gain knowledge and skills in diagnostic bacteriology. The Association is planning to offer more courses of the similar nature to meet the increasing need for Continuing Professional Development activities. Members could reflect their needs through the questionnaire survey attached.
